That means 3 hours and 45 minutes.

    60/100 = 45/75
Thanks, you were clever enought to understand it. Poor Scott...

How do you normally get to the airport?

      To HAM:
Either by taxi or "parental delivery service" , both around 20-35 minutes, depending on traffic and time.

Drive 141 km, park at my office and walk across the road to catch the inter terminal shuttle.

Same here, or I get friends to drive me. (In return I either give them food or another ride) or I take public transportation.

If I am going to O'Hare

O'Hare has really high parking costs, so I would never drive myself to ORD. I just walk to the train station in Geneva, IL (Metra Trains) and Pay $4.70 and take the 45 minute ride to Oak Park, IL. I pay another $1.75 and transfer onto the "L" trains (Forest Park Blue Line) and take that to the Clark Free Transfer Station where I get onto the O'Hare Blue Line. +/-20 minutes later I just get of at the Terminal where I need to go.

If I am going to Midway

Metra as above- Forest Park Blue Line as above- Transfer onto the Orange Line +/- 25 minutes I am walking down the really long tunnel into the terminal building.

If I am going to Milwaukee (sometimes)
I just drive and park my car there.

If I am going to Moline/Quad Cities
Just drive or use my UA Express voucher

Only 20 Minutes from Clark/Lake to O'hare?? That's some fast running!

That always takes me 45 minutes!!

                  1. That way of writing change in time is very common, especially in math and science.

                  2. You do NOT need to be 'clever' to understand that.

                  3. Why 'poor Scott'?

When I used to work in the industry and flew non-rev, I always parked in the employee lot and caught a bus to the airport from there.

I live about a 10-15 minute drive from ATL depending upon traffic.

For my upcoming trip to LAS, I'm planning to park my car at one of the off-site parking lots over on Camp Creek Parkway (got a coupon for $5.50 a day) and take a shuttle bus to the airport from there.

Just thought in Spanish (mother language) while writing. We say "pobrecito" for "he's a bit stupid" but in a funny way. That's it.

MLI- 54 minutes by car doing 65 on the highway where the limit is 55.
PIA- 42 minutes by car doing 70 on the Interstate where the limit is 65.
GBG- Depending on traffic, about 10 minutes, all though I have made it in 8.
ORD- 3.5 hours on charter bus.
IND- 4 hours driving same speed as if I was going to PIA.
                            It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

PDX - catch the Airport Light Rail at the transit center close to home, 50 minute train ride across Portland to PDX. Much more relaxing than driving to PDX from home by car.
