  • re writable cd's

I brought a re writable cd the other day intending to put music onto it then, dub it on to cassete tape, then wipe the cd and do it all over again but with different music. The rewritable cd won't play in the cd player, to me there is no obvious reason why it shouldent. So do re writable cd's plane and simple don't play music in a cd player, or am i not doing wrong burning procedures.

    cheers

You probably burned mp3 files, which can't play in CD players.

Depends on the CD player... the new ones actually do.

I don't think CDRWs (re writables) work in many CD players. You may find some newer ones that support them, but mainly they only take CDRs. (The ones that you can only burn once)
