First by looking closely to the pic and come up with the following infos
- hydroplane
- airforce with roundels, european style
- setting is not blue sea but a river, a very wide one
This lead me to the Amazon and then to Fuerza Aerea del Peru
which I googled
Latest news coverage, email, free stock quotes, live scores and video are just the beginning. Discover more every day at Yahoo!
then went there to get the entire list of aircraft and helos operated by the FAP since inception
I figured this was either a Fiarchild or an Hamilton and ultimately came over the Stinson Faucett

Some historians should update their data as air arms which operated the Fairchil 71 are Canadian and US.
Congrats to Brian who probably undigged another case of seldomly reported transcient aircraft. Looks this has been existing since aircrafts are passed along through resales, donations ....
AeroSpaceline Guppy/Super Guppy ?
Boeing 377 ? / KC-97 ?

I am still fairly amazed the C.97 surrendered at a supersonic cruising speed ...
This one should not be long either to be identified

Neither a 732
nor a F-86
nor a Dassault Mercure
nor a F-89
First clue - the bird says
"I am not a combat aircraft ...
I may have been impressed into service as a bomber at times.
But be sure this happened very, very rarely !"
