    Sorry, it is not the F86, P80, F80 or T33.

    BK, the signature is from a poem by Paul Verlaine, and it played a significant role in the build up to operation Overlord.

    DC-2 - DC-3 and C-46 are all very different planes so it would be good to only make one choice after the other. And BTW I'm 100% sure it's none of those.

    I was thinking about the L-5 Sentinel ?

    Ok fair game but I think it's going a bit too far there, or at least say you want the exact model from the beginning...

    PS : could have been an A-4B too (the earliest series...)

    It is the prototype, but I would have accepted A4D-1 or A-4A. The feature I was referring to is the covered rudder.
