No offence but I think you may have your facts wrong, as the aircraft used in the 1937 flight to the North Pole were Tupolev TB-3s, a 4 engine aircraft as seen here.

ANT-4 is right.
But the fact is right. I could scan the book i have at home but it's impossible now as I'm at work. TB-3 were the first to actually reach the north pole but the first flights were done with ANT-4 but they failed to reach the actual north point (not by much though)
