      • Took a Frenchman to crack it.

It is indeed a Caravelle III, SE-DAB of SAS. They used the brake chute when landing on slippery runways.

You have control, M`sieu, well done!

        Cheers,

        • OK then, that was mostly wild guess out of the position of the horizontal stabilizer !

          Should not be very difficult

Ok Im going to ask for a hint based on whether I'm seeing the picture in light of a true aviation enthusiast:

                  - I'm guessing since the wipers are off to the sides and not protected by fairings, it is a comparatively slower airliner, a turboprop
                  - I'm guessing the light blue stripe around the pilot's ticket window indicates Warsaw Pact origin
                  - Further guessing that the tan glare shield is also Warsaw pact and less than 20 years old
                  - Looking at the picture, I didnt get an immediate flash of recognition like Airbus cockpit windows or British windows. So it must be rare.
                  - It is not military or dual use due to lack of eyebrow windows or multiple center panes

Sorry tynopeb, it's not the IL.114

                      • Hm, no Il-114.......
I know that I saw these windows once in my lifetime in reality......

                        I think I've got it: Beriev Be-200?

If your answer is "yes", than it's probably RF-32767, photographed at Berlin Airshow / ILA 2006 at SXF.

                              • No one? Oh come on you guys, it's not soo hard.
Ok I'll give you a hint: It was designed as a multi-porpose airplane but sadly only one was ever built.

I hope thats enough to solve the mystery!

                                Greetings,
