                • Yes, a few hints:

                  Designed and built to be a contender for the land plane world speed record.

                  Changed from being a single to a twin engined aircraft.

                  Invasion of France stopped all work, unfinished aircraft crated and hidden.

                  Came to the U.S at one point in time, completed.

                  Never flown.

                  How`s that for obscurity?
