So I've decided that one step I should take in order to realize my dream of becoming a Test Pilot is to study Aerospace Engineering in College. Anyone know of schools with a good reputation for Aerospace Engineering? Also, how does a degree from such a school compare with a degree from Embry-Riddle (also a consideration, although probably not likely)?
A list of some schools I've found that have Aerospace programs:
Arizona State
BU
Case Western
Georgia Tech
Iowa State
MIT (Doubt I can make it)
NC State
ND State
Ohio State
Oklahoma State
Purdue
San Diego State
Syracuse
University of Arizona
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UCLA
UCSD
Boulder
U of Delaware
U of Illonois
Maryland
Miami
Michigan
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
USC
University of Virginia
University of Washington (Proximity to Boeing a plus)
Virginia Tech
On site flight training would be a plus.
