THESE PRICES ARE DRY - WITHOUT FUEL
That brings the Semenhole up to about $230 at roughly 14GPH..which is conservative.

Oh and the CFI is $49/hr...which is cheaper than the $59 I was paying up in RI.

Compared to renting out here in the UK, those prices are quiet good for us When I start my PPL I plan on going hour building in the States, specially with those prices!

Honestly it's still damn expensive, but when I go to the airport most of the guys I see have an obviously higher income than me.

Hmmh.... where I go, they have 3 172R and that's like $105/hour wet and the instructor is $50. IMO the R version is fine for the purpose the plane is supposed to serve. And the R has the fuel injection so you don't have to deal with the carb heat.

The weird thing is that they apparently don't want students soloing in the newer 172 that they have now until they get their PPLs. So I guess that rule's gonna go out the window when they get rid of the 1975 172. They're buying a Super Cub on floats too..... Yes.. In Kentucky...

And the fact that its so expensive means you have no money left for hookers...

On a side note, how are the chicks at UND?

Because all the kids at Riddle are really really super cool.

All you student pilots, I really suggest you apply for flight training scholarships. I apply to everyone I find, most just require essays. I just did so recently so no response yet. But even if you get just $1,000 in the end, that'll be a pretty big help.($1100 gets me 20 hours block time with my CFI).

Just ask Steve, I belive up until this point he payed nothing to his flight training thanks to scholarships. If only I could manage that!
