... which made me think: do you want to fly to Bratislava and take the less than 100 km to VIE by bus? In that case the itinerary would be:It's going to take 3 flights and 2 airlines to get where we're going this time. Question is...

What are the two intermediate stops ?
...and what is our destination ?

Your first choice was very logical and probably the easiest way...but like you noticed, I said 3 flights and 2 airlines......and I didn't say it but, no buses !!
Remember who I said I do my bookings with.
This will come up with two options, I'll accept either because I think they are actually the same flights but with a codeshare for one of them on one of the options.If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
