The blue winking smiley intrigues me. Possibly not mainland USA ?

Okay, all runways are parallel, and you need only one hand to count them all.

Do these parallell runways all have the same heading ?

And finally, when you say concrete runways do you mean that specifically or are you generalising a hard surface ?

The blue smiley has no meaning.

Technically, yes, but their runway numbers aren't all the same.

Just a hard surface in general, aka now grass or water runways.

      • OK then. It still leaves a hell of a lot of choices so...

Is this an International airport ?

          • Can't find a reference to an original triangular layout but given thatone pair of its 4 runways have slightly different headings I'll take a stab at LAX Los Angeles International ?

            • Completely wrong part of the country. Sanford was somewhat close, albeit not close enough.

              • I think that your screenname has something to do with this airport.

                DAL = Delta Airlines.

                Q. Is this an International airport ?
                A. Hell, yeah.

                ...Intimating that it's a BIG one !
with a Delta airlines connection ?

....which used to have a triangular runway pattern, only one of which is used now and, although the current runways are parallel a couple have a different heading.
Runways where I think it is are....

                8L/26R9,0002,743Concrete
                8R/26L10,0003,048Concrete
                9L/27R11,8903,624Concrete
                9R/27L9,0002,743Concrete
                10/289,0002,743Concrete

...need only the fingers of one hand to count the runways...

..and you said concrete runways first off...

So I'm going to say Delta's hub,

Hartsfield Jackson ( Atlanta International )

                • Yup, 100% correct .

Would've loved to provide a photo of the old layout of ATL, but unfortunately the awesome site that used to host plenty of old airport pics comes back as a darn GeoCities page .

                  So, this'll have to do:

Though this is already when construction for the new terminal was underway and the first new parallel runway was built, you can still see the original 08/26 running across the middle of the picture and the two crossing runways from middle left to upper right and in the upper right corner, going through where Concourse E sits today.

                  • OK, here we go again.....

Let's establish roughly where it is in the world.

Ryanair fly here and it's east of Greenwich Meridian.
