You'll have to give me a little time but I'll try to post within the hour.

You got a point there. If you are not amazed yet by the Denver conspiracy sites, you might as well try the forum here.

BTW, I slightly corrected your sentence since you left something out.

            • Reno Stead ?

Petertenthije ,you were not specific buddy, Reno has more than one airport. But he might give that one to you if it is right.

              • Sorry guys... neither of the Reno airports.

This airport's IATA and ICAO codes do not exactly reflect its name, although they do reflect it phonetically.

                  • Some good research there KGEG...

                    Notes for onward motion:

                    1. 75% of your list can be discounted on the basis of information you already have.

                    2. The airport is in the US so the other 25% of your list might be relevant.

                    3. Save for the 'K' prefix, the ICAO and IATA codes are the same.

                    • All airports KGEG mentioned already existed pre-WW2. So that disqualifies them.

The right answer, I suspect, is Great Bend Municipal.

                        I'm afraid not Peter.

This airport also has a link with the movies.

My apologies to all concerned. Mojave (MHV / KMHV... "Mo-ha-vee") was indeed built pre WW2. Oh well... to err is to be human
