  • LFHY (Moulins-Montbeugny Aeroport). The req tora is nearly a perfect match (4265 feet). And there are French Connections (who have nothing to do with Gene Hackman) that are related to Jean Moulin(s).
[I'd rather have connected it to the Moulin Rouge...]
The German long haul is alive, 65 years and still kicking.
The Gold Member in the 747 club, 50 years since the first LH 747.
And constantly advanced, 744 and 748 /w upper and lower EICAS.

    • Let's put the jeans thing right.

Who invented jeans ? One of those names plus an S on the end is the second word of the airfield......and is incidentally the word commonly used to describe the manufacturer and the product.

                • Nope Brian.
Better forget that 2nd runway. it 's just a sandy track, what's left over from the original runway, after construction of the new asphalt runway.

                            • This one is the larger of the two islands. I should add that each island has its own individual airport.
