    • Nope, not Murcia.

Almost no airline based in the same country flies there, but many seasonal and charter flights.

        • Reus it is! Had indeed to be closed temporarely when Ryanair closed their base, as they couldn't reach an agreement with the airport authorities.

          Up to you.

          • Here we go again

            Island airport.
It's the larger of the country's two airports.
One runway (however, there is a disused secundairy runway)

Sod it !!!....I looked at Reus but couldn't find any mention of an actual closure. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

                  • A military base, 3 runways, the layout of which could make you think it should be in the Isle of Man.
Training goes on here but you'll have to be hawkeyed to spot it !

                      • Nope, not Dover. Right country though.

                        Analyse the clues carefully.

                            Let's reprise the clues...

The three runways are in a pattern that suggests that this place could be on the Isle of Man...it isn't of course.

Training takes place here, you have to be Hawk eyed to see the aircraft used !

Gerardo, you said Marine Corps...well, there is a connection with the sea...but not the Marine Corps.

They fly Goshawk trainers, and the runway configuration resembles the Legs of Man sculpture in front of the terminal at the Isle of Man airport.
KC-135: Passing gas and taking names!
