Binter Canarias. They have others in their fleet which are out on lease to other airlines but only 6 are active with Binter currently (according to Airfleets.net)

        • A young civil airport, but with a long history. 17 years ago, it could have done without a runway.

          • Could this be Naval Air Station Cecil Field. In 1995 it was a military helicopter base therefore no need for runways ?

            • Roughly 9 years ago a LCC airline started operating, with that airport as a home base.

                • Correct. And it could have done without a runway, when the Harriers of the RAF were based there in the 90ies.

                    • Digging a bit further, depending on sources this airport either has 4 airlines for 3 destinations or 5 airlines for 5 destinations. A sixth airline is due to start later this month, but this won't be to a new destination.

The local city's main attraction is a undergound river.

                          • Island Airport.
One single runway (very short one)
Aviation history began in 1913. First scheduled flights began 1928 with Pan Am.
