A bit more
With an UDF of 4500 hp, one ADEN 30 mm and six hardpoints, it was supposed to support ground troops on the front but it's major role was to take over the air superiority in the lower level, primarily against the WarPact and Soviet helicopters.

Interesting concept, it partly reminds me of the Soviet MiG-21PD and 23PD STOL variants equipped with lift jets.
So a new one.
This was an avorted British CAS aircraft project.

That's the one. The upper wing was to provide extra lift for short take off strips and slower take off speeds. The upper wing, known as a Slip Wing design could be discarded in mid air if the Hurricane needed to fight. It was developed from the Hillson Bi-Mono Slip Wing design.

Her tail reminded me constantly of Bristol and Hawker aircraft.
So I bet on a biplane Hawker Hurricane.

Is there a "pulls out all hair while screaminging avatar" ??
sure .. uplifting but would lose a chunk of lift. I think I need an aeronautical definition for a "chunk" of lift?

I've got a right little gem in mind this time. Back soon when I can get to a computer with Photoshop on it.
