  • Allow me to put forward Lancashire Aircraft EP.9 Prospector 1 as a suggestion? Maybe even G-AOZO?

    Cheers,

                • Hmmm... awfully quiet here.

Let`s see if the nose can elicit some suggestions, shall we?

                      • Quiet again I see.

That leaves just one clue, the whole aircraft:

                        Now, solve it, please.

                          • Well....I've exhausted every search option I can think of. I think we need a clue because this looks to be very obscure.

                            • Okay, short of giving away the registration, she`s displayed at The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum in Flixton.

She shares one of her names with a rather well known american aircraft that started production in 1915....

                              Cheers,

                              • The Gowland Jenny Wren and that name fits that bird to a tee.

Of course it were not for the Jenny part ... I was getting welts from scratching and

We have a Norfolk and Southern Rail Museum over here and though steam Jennies were powerful ..

And then there is the old joke about the old pilot who when questioned about the name of his daughter ....... "Oh, Jenny is a nice name and of course it's short for Jennifer isn't it?"

To which he replied .... "No, it's not short for Jennifer, it's long for JN-4".

Before Curtiss-Wright folded wings here in NJ, you brought back a memory, Dad worked for them and though it was nothing exciting (payroll), I did have lots of neat signs for stuff like noise hazards and radiation symbols.
