    Choas at Heathrow 12/10/17
    by Highkeas
On Sunday (10 Dec 2017) I was scheduled to fly BA0219 direct to Denver. Sat on board 747 at the gate for 6 hours during which time the adjacent 747 was deiced twice in a total time of 3-hours. Our aircraft was still not deiced when the crews flight time was insufficient to crew the flight. The flight was cancelled. After debarking we found that most other flights into and out of LHR were cancelled. Reason was freezing snow/sleet/rain that really snarled airport operations.
Spent the night in a nearby hotel and flew out Monday on AA via Charlotte; a very circuitous route to Denver.

All gates were occupied by aircraft and aircraft that landed that morning were sitting wherever there was space without a gate to deboard passengers - I heard that some arriving passenger were stranded for several hours.

    Hi

I class myself as a beginer to JP. I only use lightroom and any guidence would be appreciated.

I recently had this photo rejected for 'too much or too little contrast, horizon unlevel and categories wrong or missing

    6731478

The contrast appeared to be Ok as i can distinguish all the tones from A to Z.
I chose the tree line to level. Should i have used the front taxi way or the building?

This may be wrong forum for category but i chose military and USAF. or does this also require a 'special livery'

    TIA

Pakistan plane crash: Jet carrying 107 people crashes into houses near airport
    by ErezS
A Pakistan International Airlines plane disappeared from radar and crashed in a residential area near Karachi Airport while the Airbus A320 was on its final approach from Lahore after the pilot reportedly notified authorities of a technical fault.

Many casualties are feared after a plane carrying more than 100 passengers and crew crashed into houses shortly after the captain reportedly notified air traffic control of a technical fault.

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) jet was on its final approach to Karachi Airport when it went down in a residential area near Model Colony and disappeared from radar shortly before it was due to land.

A number of houses were damaged or destroyed and a major rescue operation was underway to save any survivors amid a huge fire that filled with area with choking black smoke.

PIA and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said 99 passengers and eight crew members were on board the Airbus A320. There...
