I've been there, the light conditions in those hangars are among the worst I've ever seen . Your histogram shows both underexposure and overexposure, not by much but still valid for a rejection reason.
Cool Museum with a nice collection, the size of that Mig-25 is just amazing ! Love the Yak40 and Tu134 there as well !

Pick up a nice sunny day, early or late hours are the best in terms of light. Always keep the sun behind you. Learn how to read the histogram and learn editing (and yes, only edit your pictures on a good desktop computer)
On JP, use the forum and post a few samples of your best result before trying to upload. That would take away the frustration and the wait and would allow you to learn much faster.
Welcome to JP, enjoy your flight !

Here's a couple of short videos

Your histogram looks pretty acceptable but it just means the photo is exposed properly. Please remember that if the light is bad, like on a dull day, you might get a decent histogram in terms of how you handled the exposure, still it doesn't mean the photo would always be acceptable to upload. The histogram shows you didn't make any bad exposure errors, that's there's a lot of mid tones but we can't say more without looking at the image
Hope it helps

or ….. just NEVER use the contrast slide and learn about light and use level and curves to adjust your contrast. Your photography and editing will immediately improve, just takes a bit of learning.

Hot photos are one of the main reason for a slow queue and people trying to abuse the system by finding every possible reason to jump the queue is unfortunately a real issue.
local events like first flight to a certain airport would only cause more abuse with little ways and a lot of time used by the crew to check. And local events like that are only newsworthy for a tiny part of our users so….
Accidents are only hot if they were no victims in the planes shown. Oh and btw, you know what happens when a plane crashes, with people getting killed ? The news just pops up and immediately people are trying to upload their shot of that plane that crash as hot. Not of the accident, just shot of the same aircraft in order to get tons of views…. That people got killed is not their problem…. Jumping the queue and getting views is more important for them
And why would airport photos be hot ??? I doubt it will move much and change during the 9...

All taken in dull light conditions.
As we said many times, unless the bad weather/light conditions bring something more to your image, there's no reasons for us to accept dull or flat images, specially when we do have many other. images of the same reg taken in good light conditions.
Please read again the initial post by Dana, it sums perfectly the whole question.
Have a nice day
