In the airline field for some bizjets(not fractional ones,) I feel like there is some gray area between listing who owns the aircraft (normally private unless owned by a large company/organization) or listing who "operates" said aircraft ( examples include Solairus Aviation, Executive Jet Management etc.). Take N330RW for example. One can quickly figure out who actually owns this but I saw the information about the airline got updated to Circadian Aviation. I dug deeper and indeed the aircraft is operated by a Gama Aviation (who also operate the US based charter company Wheels Up) and who then were renamed to Circadian Aviation last summer. My question, is there a definitive answer here on either what my example should be or an overarching ruling for what to put down with bizjets operated by an external company but owned by someone else, as in my example, N330RW, may be operated by said company, but the aircraft is not owned by them nor flown under the callsign of Gama Aviation...
