New to the forum and to jet photos and I'm striking out. Here's my latest rejection based on:
    - Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered)
    - Dark / Underexposed
    - Subject too far / too much dead space
    - Too much or too little contrast
I attached the original and an edited image based on the feedback. Bad composition is due to my traditional approach of using, in part the rule of thirds, and leaving space to the right of the moving subject to imply movement. But now I get it....... jet photos wants the frame to be filled with the subject. Under exposure and contrast was a challenge due to the snow in the image. In reality, contrast was barely adjusted in the original image. nevertheless, I cropped, reduced dead space, neutralized contrast adjustments. So my question is, if I submitted the 2nd photo, would it have passed the screeners review? appreciate any feedback, Andy...

Post screening advice. So I'm striking out with jet photos. My latest rejection is attached. the comments on the rejection include:

    - Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered)
    - Dark / Underexposed
    - Subject too far / too much dead space
    - Too much or too little contrast
I wish they would be more specific. ( too much or too little? too dark or under exposed? etc. ) I'm quickly realizing the the screeners aren't high on traditional photography techniques .... rule of thirds, etc. I consider myself very conservative with post photo editing but nevertheless, I'm somewhat surprised that they may be impacting the acceptance criteria. That said, I attached my initial submittal of my latest photo, along with an edited one base on the obtuse feedback. the edited one is cropped more to address "dead space". I'd appreciate any feedback on what I did wrong in my initial submittal and whether or not I got it right with the edits...
