  • Further to this, I just checked out my sharpening parameters in Photoshop, and the radius I use is actually 0.1, not 1. The amount is set to 50%. This might not seem a lot, but I do multiple passes of this. Most of my photos require about 3-4 passes on a 1600px photo depending on how sharp it has come out of the camera.

  • As Tomasz says, you can see jagged edges on the cheat lines of the livery and also around the registration. The thin lines on the livery over-sharpen very easily so you need to try and reduce the effect as much as possible. Do you use layers for sharpening? This is one easy method by creating a layer, sharpening the layer, then use the erase tool to erase the sharpening on the lines. Also I'd look to reduce your radius to 1.0, which I believe means the sharpening happens in a smaller space. You might try also reducing the sharpness to say 50 and do multiple smaller passes, checking each time. I have had a few photos like yours where i've simply just given up and not uploaded it because I know it will get rejected....

  • As a flight attendant for the last 10 years I take a great deal of offence at your post. Your attitude is simply disgusting. We work damned hard to make sure you are able to get your flight in the first place. We have to be trained and qualified in many different aspects and have to re-train annually. Yes, we are trained in emergency procedures but we also have significant first aid training to try and save lives. Having had to give a passenger CPR in front of an entire Airbus A320, I am very thankful for the training we have received. If we were not there you would not be taking your fancy business class flight. I'm so glad our paths will probably never cross on board an aircraft....

  • Hi, this is the image equalised in Photoshop, not the JP dust function which is a lot more powerful. You'll notice quite clearly the halo around the wings and other parts of the aircraft. The one around the wing is visible to me even without any equalisation. I'm not seeing any significant dust issues. I would check to see if your original image has any halo. It was most likely introduced at some point in the editing process (maybe shadow/highlight use).

  • I've heard of examples where people have taken their body and lens into a service centre to get them calibrated. So yes, if you are having issues it might be worth talking to a service centre to see if it could solve any issues you are having....

  • Have you tried MFA (Micro Focus Adjustment)? There are plenty of tutorials online if you Google 90D and MFA. Try that first if you haven't already before giving up....
