Hey everyone, I have this picture of an American Airlines A321 taken at CLT. I was wondering what needs to be done before I submit it. Thanks!...

American Airlines 787-9 Business Class Los Angeles To Tokyo Haneda
This is part one of a four part trip report featuring my flights around Asia over the summer.
The Four Flights:
Flight One:
[Flight Information]
Aircraft: Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Registration: N831AN
Airline: American Airlines
Date: Early June 2019
Flight Time: 10 hours 30 minutes
From: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
To: Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND)
Seat: 6L
Video:
Summary:
- The 787 is truly a fantastic aircraft to fly on. American Airlines’ was no exception. The business class seat manufactured by Collins Aerospace is a huge step up in terms of comfort, spaciousness, and privacy compared to the custom-made Concept D by Zodiac featured on American’s 787-8s and select 777-200s. The takeoff (in the video) was stunning with an amazing wing view and had condensation form over the wing. My

AA B757 DUB-PHL: With Full Length Realtime Flight Video
So here is the full flight video that so very nearly didn't happen! We'd originally booked DUB-PHL as it had the A330 scheduled. However, a few weeks out they downgraded the flight to a 757 for an extra few weeks at the end of the winter season, and unfortunately we got stuck on this aircraft for our transatlantic leg. Once we were onboard and pushed back, the aircraft went tech and had to return to the gate as one of the engines failed to start. While we were on stand one of the flight attendants was getting very agitated with some other passengers, and on the way back from chastising one of them for getting out of his seat noticed my camera and said in a very rude manner that I wasn't allowed to film on the flight. The guy on the aisle (who I'd already been chatting to about my videos) said to her 'It's only a GoPro', after which she questioned 'What the heck is a GoPro?', and after explanation said 'Imma have to go let the captain know' and stormed off to the flight deck. She...

AA announces the launch of the 787!
So starting;
- DFW-ORD on 05/07/2015.
- DFW-PEK on 06/02/2015.
- DFW-EZE on 06/04/2015.
Great start, and great to see the aircraft up and running. I wonder which city pairs will be seeing the 787s next?...

AA applies to launch DFW-PEK!
Very cool! Can't wait to see it up and running. Sad, though, that there is no One World partner based in PRC, to help connect passengers however I hope that it opens PEK up to other cities with AA (LAX, JFK or - with a great luck MIA). Currently, AA serves ORD-PEK....

Wikileaks; "AA crew detained in Venezuela due to comment..."
Wow, kinda touchy on the subject, no? Well, I should say it, only on Chavez time would this seem to be international-event-level worthy......

AA and JetStar launch codeshare for flights to NZ!
So, a few things here.
AA is surely ramping up their agreements with LCCs, in that just this week, we have had announcements that they finalized their codeshare agreements with WestJet. Apart from that AA also codeshares with JetBlue, and GOL. It's a great stratergy - why compete against them in markets that they (the LCCS) can dominate, when you can focus on letting them pull traffic onto your long-haul routes....

AA seeks rights to LAX-PVG!
I guess that with China Eastern's move to SkyTeam, AA is being proactive. In either event, I hope that they do, indeed, get the approval to start service soon!...

AA and GOL sign codeshare!
Quite interesting considering the LATAM (and the expected turn of TAM's operations to One World). In either effect, great news for them!...
