    KLM in 2003 ordered 10+14 330-200. 7 of the 14 options apparently has been converted to firm orders, which means KLM might get 17 A330s.

    As the B747-400COMBI production is coming to an end, KLM is now figuring how to replace 744COMBI since the first few is reaching its retirement age.

    Also, with the merger of Air France-KLM, KLM is considering to replace/terminate lease of 733/734 with AF 320s.

    Jim, do you happen to know whether KLM is going to enter Skyteam next May, like NWA and Continental?

      I hope we get to see the 330s in KLM colours before they get all painted that ugly white scheme.

        When would be the merger be happening if it is approved? Would they have enough time to get these delivered before that? If not, they'll just go to Air France.

            When would be the merger be happening if it is approved?
            The merger is scheduled to be completed in 2010/11, but you can be sure AF will have moved a lot of AMS ops to CDG by then.
