  • Some NW news

I just thought I would tell you (if you care or are interested) about some new NW things.
    DENVER SPOTTERS:
Northwest now has 4 daily 757's into Denver (2 flights to DTW and 2 to MSP)
    NW Flight 1224 DEN-DTW 8:00a departure
    NW Flight 1226 DEN-DTW 11:10a departure
    NW Flight 548 DEN-MSP 7:30a departure
    NW Flight 552 DEN-MSP 2:20p departure

    NW Flight 1221 DTW-DEN 1:04p arrival
    NW Flight 1225 DTW-DEN 8:10p arrival
    NW Flight 561 MSP-DEN 10:13a arrival
    NW Flight 547 MSP-DEN 10:24p arrival

All of those flights are currently overbooked for the coming weeks

Also, the LAX-DEN flights are averaging a 89.4% LF and the DEN-LAX flights are averaging a 92.2% LF

    NRT-PDX-NRT is averaging a 97.9% LF

Northwest currently has 162 aircraft in the new paint scheme, well there you have it.

Well that's certainly a good start for this service. I'm glad to hear it. Of course, I'm not sure how much it means after only three or four RT flights... Sure hope it holds strong though. The first winter will be a big test.

All the flights so far and for the next couple of weeks are well over booked, however, several no-shows have brought down the LF a little. But none the less it is still good, glad to see some 757's in Denver again, now if I can just get on one (they are also overbooked)

What is the status of the A330-200s for that route?

According to the NW PARS, the A330-200 will begin service PDX-NRT on October 1st. Also the First NRT-PDX is scheduled for October 3rd, which is odd, but they may do it every other day on the A330 because of having such few A332's.

That's a boost that RIC can really use!
