    You guys like retro traffic?

I've just programmed these defunct airlines.

    Peoples Express
    Midway Mk 1
    Piedmont
    Air Florida
    New York Air
    Air Wisconsin (Self Entity)

They operate side by side with modern day traffic and give the airports a nostalgic feel.

    Here are some pics:

    Piedmont's Dayton Hub:

    Piedmont's BWI Hub:

I will do more shots...these are the ones I have on file.

    I love retro traffic.

Would you like to see any old airlines?

Let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Do I love any old airlines? Hell yeah.
I fly for Eastern VA of that tells you what my favorite is. Other than that, I am partial to North Central/Republic, Ozark, Piedmont, and Northwest Orient.
    Nice screenies, BTW.

I was going to add some retro stuff but decided that my AFCAD files wouldn't really accomodate it all that well...

Yeah, I've got a whole pile of their plans tucked away in a folder...I was going to add all the retro stuff and then simply swap out my AFCAD files and traffic .bgl files depending on what I wanted to see when I flew. So far it hasn't happened...but is still on my list of things to do.

George that is a totally cool idea!

By the way....do you have any Allegheny Airlines Flight Plans? I've looked everywhere for them and have yet to find any!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Pete, I'll look and see what I have tomorrow...its just about time for me to head to work. I don't *think* I have any Allegheny, though...but I could be wrong. Have you found any a/c for them? Usually if you find one you find the other (plans and a/c).

            Have fun...

Yeah I've found some great Aardvark aircraft and some props but I can not find any plans for it at all!!!

I want it cause they operate mainline to ERI, BFD, and IPT and places as such...so its cool seeing a DC9 in place of a small B1900.

Just as I promised....here are more pics of all my Retro AI airlines.

                Enjoy

                Air Florida in sunny Miami.

Air Illinois' Carbondale, IL hub in the morning before bank time.

A mix of old and new at Appleton, WI.

A happier time; Meigs Field with scheduled traffic.

                Retro traffic at Newark.

H.S. 748 Avro of Air Illinois at Carbondale, IL.

What Midway Airport used to be like.

                Florida in the 80s.

                Midway's own airline; Midway Airlines.

Mississippi Valley Airlines hub at Chicago O'hare.

The true big apple carrier; New York Air.

Utica, NY hometown carrier; Empire Airlines, which was later merged with Piedmont.

                Hope you like these!
