That's the whole point. Airliners.net only accepts photos of commercial or near-commercial quality or those that are of historical or otherwise special interest. That's very fine but when I look for a particular registration I just want to see the plane, I don't care if the pic is not of publishable quality. In this respect there certainly is room on the net for a site that will publish a large quantity of pics of different airliners regardless of artistic/aesthetic value rather than, for example, accept 20 great pics of the same aircraft while rejecting 19 not-so-great shots of 19 different ones.

Being still in their forums occasionally (I won't state who I am on there knowing their henchmen probably come in here clandestinely), I have to say you have my support Chris [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

reason1: More photographer friendly

reason2: Atmosphere appears more relaxed,no hostility or flaming

reason3: Biased my country is better than your country bs is nowhere to be found here! [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

All three factors will make this site more of a pleasure visiting. Keep up the good work Chris!

I think it would be silly to look at the JetPhoto homepage and act like it was not inspired by Airliners.net.

However, there are problems with a.net that this palce solves. No overly picky pictures aprovals, no strict moderating on forusm, not as many people (which I LOVE). It's more relaxing here.

I think anyone who stresses this topi needs to shut the computer off. It's the internet. None of these plane sites are businesses, so it's not ike we are all competing for money here.

I don't know if it bothers Johan. He seems to be a great guy. but if it bothers him that much, then he's a loser. I LOVE his site, and I love this one. But who cares?

It's the internet. Just surf.

But your site don't get enhanced/better if you don't accept competition.

There are lots of sites are there that look a like, did those company filing lawsuit against each other? I never heard any.

By the way, one of the reason that a.net's quality has gone down is about censorship. And I hope there's no such thing happens in here, as long as it didn't cross any borders.
