      This sounds like the MSP weather Sunday and Monday. Sunday we were 60 and sunny, Monday we were in the low 20s with a 40MPH north wind.

        Was +5C yesterday, then dropped to -10C the next day. All the melt water became ice. I was close to taking a spill on several occasions

          Tell me about it, I DID take a spill. I was just talking to my friend and did not even notice the whole sidewalk was covered in ICE!

                I don't think anything would work on ice though..... unless they have spiked solesm which would be awkward on real ground
