    Are the images sharp even when using full zoom?

    I have it, but wouldnt reccomend it over 200/250mm as it is soft.

    Good startout lens though, check out the sigmas or the canon 70-200L f4 for better quailty .

      Stopped down to f8 and above and used under 250mm it can produce some decent results. Anything over 250mm it all goes very soft.

            I use the EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III which I'm guessing is very similar to the II, and I have to say that I use it over 250mm all the time, and with post-processing I'm not at all dissappointed with the results, it's a fantastic lens if you know how to post process.
