Air Canada orders 777 and 787!

After a little thought, while I am still very excited to fly the T7 and 787 in AC colours, I'm going to miss the A333 and A345s in the AC fleet. I had fantastic flights on both of these A/C... but bring on th T7!

How can you have an opinion on that? They either do, or they don't. Just so happens that United has more.

That aside, I'm incredibly happy that AC has chosen to go with Boeing on this one. It's great for Boeing, great for AC, and great for me who now gets to fly on them!

and most likely Lufthansa, and Air France too.

AF-KL will be interesting... although i don't think they will order any 787/A350 in the near future, since both still have A330's on order (KL even has to receive its first one)

The 787 is far from the ugliest, and after seeing the new AC livery in person, it's not bad; it grows on you. Besides, personally, i think that the 777-X00 look great.

36 Boeing 777 and 60 B787? Wooow......

I got to say, it really surprises me. It never cross on my mind that AC could make such big order. Good for Boeing, a big blow as one of major customer went away from Airbus' lap. Can't wait to see does widebodies in AC's livery.

I was kidding... but I also wanted to say that I like the new AC colours, but I also know that I am in a minority.

Also, as much as I like the A380 (which is more than my previous post may have suggested), I still find it really ugly...

Still, regardless of poor asthetics or otherwise, this is a great move by AC.
