    Default Are these that bad?

    Hello everyone, first time posting.

I'd like to get your opinion on these few shots i got rejected today.

    1. http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=608917
    - Part of Subject Cut Off/Missing
    - Bad Info (Aircraft, Airline, Registration, etc.)

Parts missing? The shot was actually planned like this. I didn't want the whole thing in one view.
Bad Info? I didn't find Greenbank in the database, and it takes a while to add a new airport. What was i supposed to put in? Otherwise, all info is correct.

    2. http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=608900
    - Aircraft Not Centered in Frame
    - Sensor Dust Spots

Not Centered? It is? Looks OK to me.
Dust Spots? I'm trying to find them. Anyone can point them out (is there a way i can do it meself?)

    Any comments appreciated.

    Yes.

Your placement in # 1 is miserable. If you like it that way, you will get a lot of "private collection" keepers really fast.

Same for #2. Why not just put the plane where it belongs? It looks like you could not get the plane in the frame properly with what ever lens you had, so you just took the picture that way.

You can't see the dust spots? Try equalizing the image to find them. They will jump right out at you.

    Ok, fair enough,

but how about Bad Info, and why is n.2 "Not centered"? According to you, it's more like "Bad Camera Angle".

Shot 1: would have faired better if you stepped back and caught the whole aircraft

Shot 2: Dustspots mostly localized over the fuselage towards the front...I think I may see a large one jdirectly above the large "LO" and definetly a smaller one above and to the left of that. Also a smaller one just below and to the left of the nose gear.....thats without equalizing or upping contrast in PS, more may become evident then.

Its not centered because it is high in the frame........

It's not centered because the aircraft is too high in the frame. The wing is almost touching the top while there is a lot of dead space near the bottom. And besides, "bad camera angle" is not one of our rejection reasons.
