    '02:
-CVG-CDG: DL 772ER (Very first time of course. Can't get bored of watching the photos of that wing view I took from just in front of the trailing edge. I also recall that the plane took only about as much runway as the 752's were taking that day to become airborne. And this was with a pretty full load!).
-CDG-ATL: DL 772ER (N864DA-In the 2002 Winter Olympics livery at the time . Smooth flight, and one powerful jet. I saw some of the nastiest headwinds on the PTV (85kt+!) but we were still doing 500kt+ and the plane took the heat thermals in stride, no bumpy approach).

    '04:
-CDG-CVG: DL 772ER (Once again in this beast of a machine. I was at the front of the rear Y-class cabin, noticeably much less noisy. Engine start-up and flap deployment was barely heard (even that usual hydraulic pump noise, and all the pilot had to do was release the brakes and the plane started taxiing on its own on idle power. Was really fun to experience that . Take-off was also quieter. Definitely my most enjoyable triple-seven flights yet).

Looking forward to my next one, which won't be happening for a while.

        Flights on a 777

I haven't been on a 777, yet. During August I will be traveling to Manila, with a round trip between Manila and Bangkok on Cathay Pacific. I think the flight between Hong Kong and Bangkok will be on a 777. Looking forward to it.

Once again, I don't remember any dates, though the order should be correct:
            DL FRA-ATL
            DL CDG-ATL
            AF ATL-CDG (Worst.Flight.Ever)
DL CDG-ATL, Soaring Spirit, with diversion to CLT due to T'Storms over ATL
            DL ATL-CDG

              United Airlines
              N774UA
              LHR - JFK

Was very impressed by it, but even more impressed by the 767 for the return flight.

I have only flown a 777 one time, on United from LAX to HNL July 3, 2003. I was so disappointed because I thought all 777s has seatback TV's. At least I had a window seat with a good wingview. Too bad I wasn't spotting back then.

Edit: My SAN trip got switched a wee bit, and now I will be flying the EMB-120 SAN-LAX and then the 777 LAX-DEN, then SFO-DEN later on in July.
