I just bought a Nikon N65 on loan from my dad. IT hasn't come in yet. Are those good for a amatuer photographer? I highly doubt I'll use it for uploading shots onto jetphotos.net.

I agree with Polish Air re: digital zoom... they are WORTHLESS.
My digital is an Olympus D-490 Zoom... It's okay... The zoom is really pretty weak and the glass in the lens not the best, so it's only good if you are right next to your subject and have good sunlight. Use the zoom and the images get a bit fuzzy... But, for $300, that's what ya get.
My film camera (would that be an analog camera?) is an old Nikon FG, and my main lens for planes is a 210mm Nikon Series E lens... It's old equipment, but it still takes a mean picture... Better than my digital at this point!
