DanAir a few times in 70's/early 80's, I seem to remember at that early age how noisy they were at the back...

I wish I had the chance, its one of my favorite aircraft. My dad got to fly in one opperated by Air Illinois back in the 80s. He was seated in the back and also said it was very noisy.

About 5/6 years ago I got the chance to fly one on of EAL's 1/11's (G-AZMF) on a 1 hour xmas special flight. I had some pics but they were taken on a rubbish cam and I cannot find them any more . A great plane.

I know this maybe should be in another section but at a few museums in the UK (Duxford/Bournemouth) you can go aboard 1/11's.
