AC has a poster of the events durring a turn, Dale, you might have it. Anyway, usually AC aims for 45 min turns on alot of flights. Ive seen 20 minutes from the de-plane to the en-plane on a A319.

          America West ground time was:

          737-3 40 minutes
          757-2 60 minutes
          737-2 35 minutes
          A320 45 Minutes
          A319 35 minutes

CRJ no real ground time-since it was Mesa, when the crew gets there its ready to go

          ERJ see above

Dash-8's/B1900 don't know they were not here when I work Cactus.

Why do international flights have a much longer turn-around time? Aren't cleaning, deplaning and boarding procedures pretty much the same?

customs and extra security searches on the aircraft and boarding can be slower due to customs processing of passengers...

Does the additional need for fuel also require the additional time, or would 1 hour be enough to fill up the tanks of a 777 going to NRT?

And as a side, some international flights for DL have shorter turns than 120, two of them being IST and ATH, which have shown up in the timetables as having 95-minute turns before.

As for AFR, this depends on types and sectors flown, for instance, a 32x flying either a domestic or a European route will require a shorter turn around than a fleet member flying to either Pointe Noire or Algiers, where the story is pretty different than either Nice or Madrid. As with the larger stablemates, the average 60 to 90 minutes is still the norm.

For the planes here, we usually do it in about 5 minutes

For AC Jazz, our turn times are usually 25min for the CRJ-200s, 20 mins for the Dash 8 (100 and 300). And even if you go over these times by 1 minute, you're pretty much guaranteed a call from QK wondering why the flight went late.

Hadn't DL announced last year as part of its restructuring plan that it would aim for 30 min turnarounds on pretty much all M88 and 732/733 domestic flights? I clearly remember the M88 I flew on from ATL to OKC in January had a 30 min turnaround from the time it came to the gate.

Prior to Operatarion Clockwork our narrowbody single aisle turn time was 55minutes...I dont recal anything about them dropping to 30minutes..Several stations tested different turntimes to see what timeframe we could sustain system wide, so you very well could have had a 30minute turn in OKC, but it may not have been a success..
