Alrighty..well....on the reject screen, what exactly does 'bad quality' mean? (specifically in the case of http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=23736 )

I know it's not the greatest photo, and I can clean up some of the grime around the left-hand side....but....am I taking the wrong meaning of 'bad quality'? Or does that just mean it's a crappy pic? I know it's not the greatest but I think it will "be enjoyable to other aviation enthusiasts", which is your mission, after all. Not many hangar shots

Oh well, if you all just tell me it sucks, I won't mind.

Looks a bit grainy to me...
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Im blaming Gary for that. I was typing a response and talking to Gary. Garys typing and grammar skills carried over to here...

Ian:

It doesn´t suk.
It is just a bit "out of the subject".
If you were trying to shoot just the nose, to get an artistic look, you should try to get closer, because in this pictures you get a lot of hangar and just a bit of plane...

Personally, I could perhaps live with the grain, although far better without, but more importantly, I don't see the focus of the shot; equal attention to the boxes as the aircraft and a wall of the hangar with a vehicle. Sort of like a random security camera shot. Is there a reason you didn't choose another vantage point?

Ian,

Agreeing with what Tom and the sailor ( ) have said, the shot is also taken in questionable lighting conditions. Had I screened the photo, my rejection reason would have been:

Aircraft not centered, backlit, grainy.

Ian,
The first thing that caught my eye was the Bobcat! That should explain the reason.
