  • Centering.

Got this one rejected for bad composition:

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject_b.php?id=1635830

Fair enough, the APU is further from the edge of the image than the nose is, but on this image I centered it using the left engine and the APU as reference points. I used that technique to center all my images from that evening and I am curious to know how come some have got in and some have been rejected.

    Advice please?

Horizontal centreing is fine but both are too high in the frame. Try using the window line to centre vertically.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

A CREW member asking us lowly scum for advice?!?! ROFLLL

Just kidding. As Brian said it's a tad high in the frame and also seems to be a little to the right IMHO. Good luck!

Matt, the combination of chopped off tail and too much dead space below the aircraft make the photo look unbalanced. I would have rejected also the accepted one, but I reckon it is borderline and you still remember our discussions in the forums I guess

In his defence Gerardo, it does say Jetphotos.net crew under Matt's screenname.

Yes it does, and I hadn't noticed it to be honest-I'll try to get that sorted out.

            Thanks for your advice Gerardo!
