True, but I doubt too many ADers will read through all pages trying to read up about every active member .

Good to see you back Joe, and with an appropriate new avatar showing those ADers what you'll do if they p!ss you off .

Danke. I figured with all the ruckus the ADers are causing mine would go almost unnoticed, so I figured why not come back. Much more entertaining than studying.

Indeed Per! Ya I was active at ad.com up until around 2003 or 2004 I believe then switched to here but kept a status at ad.com

Now obviously we ALL have to revert back here.

Air Fart, truly was indeed a classic hahaha.

I'm Steve, A New Zealander who's a long term resident of the Middle East. (Almost a decade now and counting).
Spent several years in the military and emergency services, before giving it all away to teach hosties CPR. (Remain calm, form a good seal with your lips and do everything the nice man tells you). Also worked as a hostie (job requirements I swear), but had a hard time being nice to people against my will.
Currently doing security/ medical escorts and evacuations, which means I fly more than my hostie girlfriend.
Spent most of my time on AD.com in the peanut gallery, or starting fights in the political forum.

Proud survivor of an A380 flight.

I did post in the sticky, but will gladly do it again here.

Henrik, 42, Danish, with 17 years in Flight Information Services (uncontrolled towers and Flight Information Center at Sondre Stromfjord) and ATC training in Greenland, Denmark and Luxembourg. Left that in 2005, now a student doing advanced computer studies, about a year left of that, then will see what future holds.

Did have a US PPL but have not kept it valid since 1996, mainly for economic reasons, and when I dig up the story I posted on AD.C I will post it here so you can learn from the mistakes of others. At least we walked away from it.

Like photography, do a bit of train watching (have a steam train depot just at the end of our street) and use my 3 y.o. daughter as an excuse to go see the big machines.

Ok, now for my honest response.

I'm Joe, I'm 24 and just moved to Atlanta. I'm currently in training to fly the CRJ 700. I first got into photography through taking pictures of airplanes, but mostly take pictures of other stuff now. Mostly travel photography whenever I get a chance.

Bet you would never have guessed my name is Andy! I'm 34, Originally from Newcastle now live in Essex, UK. I have about 5 hours instruction in gliders 20 years ago. Applied to join the RAF when I was 16 and discovered at the medical I was colour blind, so been in the back seat since then. (My original name on AD was Earth Bound Misfit, but that got tourched in some prior crash).

I accidently got into computer programing after university and after a stint working on roster management software for a provider to BA and Virgin that had me at Heathrow most days for 3 years moved into the finance sector. Worked my way up to running a very successful product for the "buy side" which involved almost as much time at Heathrow. Being out of the country almost every other week and jet lagged most weekends with a young daughter wasn't working so I jacked it in and started my own company. This has been great as I now have 3 young daughters - 5 month old twins now take up as much of my time as running a business and my fascination with jets.

I'm Carlos, almost 60 of age, living in Portugal. German origin however. Countless hours in jumpseats, from Auster and Do-27 to A340 but mostly in B737. Countless hours of debates with pilot and maintainance friends. Biggest interest is having a look in the Aviation Safety Discussion Forum when something goes really wrong with an airplane to understand the whys. Had more than 8.000 posts in AD.com since the last server crash before this final one. For quite some time had the hobby of building and controlling big R/C planes (up to 1:3), from aerobatic to sailplanes up to 4,5m of wingspan.

                              alrighty, my turn

I'm Christian Sullivan, I live in Toronto Canada, but I was born in New York
My parents are Slovak and Irish, and I speak Slovak and some Czech (on top of quite obviously English)

I've wanted to be a pilot since I was in the 1st grade, and I've been actively flying since I was 10 years old.

I'm interested in anything and everything related to Aviation, business, technology, collecting, flight sim etc etc
