I did not say that, what I did say is that sometimes you deserve some of the bizzare response from your users.

Well I surely had a laugh seeing that picture. It is not like we miss the people who do such things.

I saw that you had quoted the post regarding the offensive photo, that is how I can to that conclusion.

I take it by the fact you still participate in the forums and upload photos that you intend to keep visiting so can i ask that you don't slag off the people who make it possible for you to use this site.

    Dear screeners,

going through this thread there are definetely some posts which make me laugh and some make me raise my eyebrows.
There are quotes from emails which indeed are very rude and are unacceptable but in all honesty i have to say that i can understand where these emails are coming from.

A recent example i had today.
This pic got rejected http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject_b.php?id=3792268 because of ībad infoī.
I can assure you that at the time of uploading the airline info was as described on the photo and the only option i had to choose.
When checking the database now there is only Eurowings... So it has been changed afterwards (donīt understand why itīs such an issue anyway and why it has to be corrected now all of a sudden).. In my opinion i would think, Ok I approve the pic with the correct name and correct the database in one go. In my opinion itīs not that īdisturbingīthat the picture has to be rejected.
And so there are many more of this examples that annoys photographers because there seems to be an inconsistency in screening.
And i know all the screeners are humans and total subjectivity canīt be avoided but there are examples of accepted photos and screener choices which raise the eyebrows of a larger part of the Jetphotos community.
I speak regularly to other photographers at different airports and if it comes to Jetphotos you hear a lot of frustration. Of course the emails you receive are unacceptable but if i may do a suggestion you start a questionnaire and listen to you īcustomersī. This will deminish the number of complaints/these kind of emails.

Let me have this said clear, I appreciate all the the time you screeners spend on this side, nothing said about that.

    Kind regards,
    Joop

Can I just say a big thank you to the screener who added the vintage category to some recent uploads rather that just rejecting - much appreciated

That would have been me, and you're welcome. We don't mind adding the odd category now and then as long as the photographer in question doesn't have a track history of regularly missing categories, which you don't.

And thanks for getting in touch, it's rare for any photographer to respond to screening messages left by a screener...

Indeed, I correct tons of categories and always leave a message and we get a "thank you" maybe once every 200 correction.... yep...

How about creating a "Thank the screeners / reply to the positive feedback / etc" thread? There's a few times I'd love to reply/thank the feedback but I don't know where to do so.

I would as well like to thank the screener (whomsoever it may be) for accepting this picture http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7577513 despite me not selecting (forgot rather in the heat of uploading as a HOT SHOT) the "Special Scheme" option.

Since I saw this thread, I wanted to appreciate the screener and all screeners for doing a wonderful job.

A big thanks to Dave Henderson for the clarification regarding similar shots criteria.

So this one is from early February I think, but I haven't had a chance to thank the screener.

"you edit your images to a pretty good standard Felipe, have you ever considered applying for a screening role?"

Honestly, I still feel like I don't have the eye required to be a screener, but I guess I'm getting better. Either way, I think it was great to see that comment left on an accepted photo, definitely something that raises the morale.

So thanks to the anonymous screener, I definitely noticed the comment!
