The passengers were business travelers on their way to meet with a glass company that won a contract at the new World Trade Center site.
The irony is a little frightening to me...

          O ! The Irony !

          I figgered it out.

The Minnesota plane was a twin engine jet.
The WTC planes were twin engine jets.

          Therefore,
          She is a witch.

Minneasota has been getting some regularly nasty weather recently, but I'm not going to speculate.

                  Really?

WTC collapse caused by a plane crash.
This plane crash involved people re-building the WTC.

                    Does she float?

In all seriousness, this is a tragic accident, but I think it could have all too easily been avoided.

Yeah anyone working on WTC site should stop flying in planes, clearly a connection.

Are you a pilot, and have you ever hit really severe windshear, or a microburst on short final. I've gone from straight and level to 20+ degrees nose up and around 30-40ish degrees of bank in a millisecond only a couple hundred feet over the ground and came within a few knots of a stall/spin. All this on a clear day, other traffic reported nothing and landed with no problem ahead of me. Weather is no joke if its sudden and severe enough at a low altitude.

This doesn't say anything about windsheer, says it hit an antenna

Can't say I've seen it quite that severe. Furthermore I've had a few EGPWS windshear warnings that turned out to be false.
