Low-Cost Domestic,......Don't use them. At 6 feet tall and 22 stone, I don't get into a locost seat...I put it on !! And I don't like being treated like a sheep en route to the slaughter house.

Main-Liner Domestic,.......BA is the home airline but I would use them long haul unless I had to. Haven't tried BMI yet.

                International.....Etihad.
I had the best business class experience ever with them although I'm told that Cathay Pacific now have an even better bizclass seat.

I also have a holiday apartment in Malta and always fly Air Malta club class. Reserve a few months in advance and two of us can fly return for a total of Ł300.

                  LCC:
                  AirTran
                  Virgin America

                  Mainline Domestic:
                  American Airlines
                  Delta Airlines

                  Long-Haul International:
                  Air India
                  JetAirways
                  Cathay Pacific
Whatever is necessary, is never unwise.

Thats not necessarily true. I'm 6'2 235 and just 2 years out of playing collegiate baseball. I'm pretty fit but still a big boy and I fit in Southwest and JetBlue seats.

In fact I fit better in the JetBlue cabin than the American coach cabin.

We don't. They have bmibaby as a LCC.

OK. I consider bmibaby and BMI to be separate operations (and if I'm not mistaken they have separate AOCs). Generally speaking, the latter is considered a full service carrier.

Virgin Blue is also a LCC I wish I had a chance to try out. If only I had enough money to fly down to Australia and hop on a flight out of Melbourne.
