A UN relief flight operated by Air Serv International (ASI) crashed on approach in stormy weather to Bukavu. Aircraft reported to be Beechcraft 1900, 15 pax + 2 crew. Wreckage spotted, but not yet reached on ground, no news on any survivors.

Two days after the crash wreck still not reached on the ground due to continuing bad weather and difficult terrain. Aereal survey indicates a/c slammed into a mountainside and disintegrated, no chance of any survivors. RIP
