  • AA emergency landing at ORD

CHICAGO (WLS) -- No injuries were reported on Monday when a plane made an emergency landing at O'Hare International Airport.

According to the FAA, an American Airlines jet from Seattle to JFK was diverted to O'Hare for an emergency landing after a warning light went off on the cockpit.

Was a Boeing 757-200 with winglets. Flying SEA-JFK reported problems, diverted to ORD, and then ended up going off the runway into what seems to be the overun section I believe at ORD.

This is the second time a JFK-SEA flight had to divert to ORD for some emergency. The first one was a bomb scare in the air just if you want to know.
