  • Air Canada Jazz Emergency

Hi, I was doing some homework and as an aviation nerd I was listening to YYZ approach and Tower. I was just listening and and Air Canada Jazz (7929 was the callsign) called a maday and flew by the tower to check something. Anyone know what happened? By the way he is at the present time climbing to 6000.

    Thanks if anyone knows

The flight was BWI to YYZ. He did a couple of fly-bys and then landed.

Not really, it kind of sucks. Lots of thoughts going through maintenance guys heads "What did I do wrong?" Even when the odds are it was nothing more than something mechanical breaking, because that's what mechanical things do.

                        Been there a few times...

It's gives us a chuckle when they tell us how many SOB's (souls on board) are on the flight. No matter how serious we all listen for the SOB's.
