The tree one and the Lanc are 2 pieces of art Paul, I'm really impressed, and no for once I'm not joking.

Great thread btw, it's good to see that people have talent outside of aviation photography

Hey, you know you're not too bad at this yourself!

The thing I love about all those images is they have atmosphere; you can 'feel' the places through the image, which is actually incredibly rare. Really nice work, Alex, thanks for posting them.

Figure I'll give a contribution to this thread. Took these on December 30, 2009 when I was in Minneapolis for our conference. Just walked around outside for a bit.

About 15 minutes after I took this one, the lights were turned off. Low clouds really added to it.

Streetlamps at night all dressed up for the season.

The moon with a halo around it. Taken at full 18mm out which is as far as I can go. Wish I had a little wider. 30" exposure.

Last one for now of the front of the Hilton we stayed at.

I'll probably put some more up later, but it's getting pretty late.

    Cars anyone?

    That's the moon btw.

    Car2car.

Still toying around with the LED flashlight. This was actually only one exposure, no blending in the photoshop afterwards...

Nice Yash. Am I right in guessing that you are into aviation by any chance?

Not much aviation stuff from me lately, but I did go to the World Superbikes a few weeks back. No World Superbikes here, but some local stuff and World Supersport.

A few from my trip to Madeira. All taken with the ancient Coolpix 5700 and badly compressed.
