  • Thomson Airways 767 Seat Layout Question

I was having a nosey at the Thomson Airways Wikipedia page, when I noticed something which confused me?

It stated that Thomson's 767's are in two configurations. What interested me was when it stated that all of there longhaul 767's are configured to seat 258 pax?
I know the former First Choice craft were set up this way but I though that the former Thomsonfly birds were still used on some longhaul routes, seating 283 pax as I recall, I cannot get onto seat plans to check!

Does anyone know if this is accurate at all, just I am flying in a few weeks with them and I was sure it showed a former Thomsonfly layout?

    Thanks.

Thomson still send there 767s long-haul but there mostly operated by the First Choice aircraft.. today the following TOM flights flew (TOM colours, not the FCA birds)

      TOM174 | EGCC-MMUN | B763 | GOBYG | 130 passengers
      TOM257 | MMUN-EGBB | B763 | GOBYG | 257 passengers

      TOM112 | EGCC-KSFB | B763 | GOBYJ | 79 passengers
      TOM113 | KSFB-EGCC | B763 | GOBYJ | 282 passengers

so I'm not really sure of OBYG has the same configuration as the FCA machines but OBYJ is definitely configured in the 283 layout as you mentioned. Also, the 328 config aircraft have operated long-haul recently (with 258 passengers though) so you may get anything. Where are you flying too?

Im on TOM 144 (MAN-CUN) on the 20th Nov. I was sure it'd be an ex Thomson rather than first choice when I prebooked my seats the other week when I looked at the seat plan shown there, plus last year did the same flight and it was an Ex Thomson plane. It was just the wikipedia page got me wondering!!!
