  • 1000th Boeing 767 being assembled

Assembly of the 1000th Boeing 767 (ordered by ANA) is currently underway at the Everett facility. This is quite the achievement!

Final assembly started today on the 1,000th Boeing (NYSE: BA) 767 airplane. Workers marked the milestone with a celebration at the Everett, Wash. factory.

Didn't mention that the 1000th 767 will be a 767-300 ER model. Seems (as per Boeing's article) that 1001 (also for ANA) is also coming soon

I'm very happy for Boeing and 767 program. This aircraft is my favorite one in the whole wide world. B767 was the first plane I flew on. I think there will be more 767 in the future because it's just a great plane a true work horse of the sky!!

The Boeing 767 IMO is a very sucessful jet! I love it even if I fly and see it all the time! I wonder if this one will be a special scheme. Too bad it's ANA as they already have a lot of special painted planes. A LAN, ACA, TAM, ET or something, that would be interesting!

          wow.... 1000 767.... great.

but, if I am right, Boeing celebrated the 900th 777 some days ago.

seems to be a good year for Boeing.

thats pretty cool. I like the 767 specially the -400.

Does anyone know the number of 747's they have produced ?

I dont know exactly but i can tell you its more than 1000 as 9V-SMU used to carry the 1000th 747 sticker. Not sure where that frame is now though it was a 400 for those that dont know.
Anyways on the topic of the 767, Its always good to hear of a milestone such as this especially when the aircraft in question is likely coming to the end of its production cycle. With the 787 i cant imagine they will be building too many more but depends on military contracts now i think.

The 747 must be around 1416 (of all models since r/o in 1968. The 747-4 slowly runs out of production, they produced the last one in 2008 or 2009 without any further orders for it.
But honestly, I never expected a total of more than 1000 B767 build.
