Just uploaded my first photo in a long while (yeee christmas holiday). Number 19 in the queue! That's really incredible! Is this "just" hard labour, or has the screening proces been updated as well? I can't remember the queue being this low in a long while!

I do everything not to reach zero
During uploads the smallest queue number which I've seen was about 12, but the screening email is full with photos:

"This photo was in the queue 1 minute"

or less, without time

"This photo was in the queue"

Won't be easy to keep that queue so low ...

2,567 photos uploaded today ... at 18:00 server time, i.e. with 6 more hours to go. Unfortunately, I see only the screeners contributing to the low queue, but not all the photographers.

Frankly i'm astonished at the dedication from my fellow screeners! They deserve some serious credit!!!

Merry Christmas to all our uploaders, but especially to all our screeners and crew!

All i ask is you think about your uploads and remember that if your selective, the queue will stay lower and your photos get on quicker. If you mass upload the queue it will rise.

Thanks to all the screeners for the hard work. I wish all of us would do our part to keep it low. I only submitted 4 today (and 2 were previous bad info rejects), and they were on the queue for just a few hours

A batch that just got accepted was in the queue for just 35 mins! That's even faster than a hot upload I had done a few months ago!!

This is what I call screening on steroids

General view counts have taken a hit but I'm not too fussed over views.

Very impressive work & it's admirable and highly appreciated that some of the screeners are doing this full-time over the holidays.
