    • Night approach

      Hi All,

I took this at night (f5.6 iso 1600). I've been wondering the best way to approach editing it i.e. going more dark (sky) or perhaps the other way. The cabin lights were nice against the sky as it came down the glide slope somewhat nose down. I have kept that aspect as it was. Maybe the crop works/doesnt ? Appreciate folks thoughts and any points/advice. Hopefully it could make the db.
      Cheers T

        Look passable to me.

        Oversharpened, and exposure/contrast issues.

It's wearing "operating for EnterAir" sticker, and latest photos were uploaded on JP with "EnterAir" as airline - however it's not really owned by EnterAir, it's just leased I guees. So, should I upload it with EnterAir as airline (which I belive is not correct), or with Air Via, the actual owner?
Follow whatever is already in the DB.

Both a bit bright, and slight cyan/green cast. I would fix those two issues before uploading.

Can't really tell the quality from Flickr, but the crop/exposure work for me. Can't say everyone would agree though, so keep that in mind if submitting.

I think I got rid of jaggies, but I'm really struggling with contrast/exposure. Is it better now? And if it's actually fixable? Those clouds are really pain in the you-know-where... I really like that prop condenstation.

Don't think so, this would still be a contrast rejection for me.

No, some very obvious (and unfixable) problems such as obstruction and being backlit would mean this would have no chance at acceptance. Sorry.

                    • I'm still trying to "calibrate" my editing workflow for JetPhotos uploads, any feedback on this one?

Top of the fuselage is nearly blown out, but that has little to do with the editing or quality, which I think are both fine.

Thank you, I think in that case I will hold off on uploading it as I'm sure already plenty of pictures of this airplane

do the sun reflection on this cause a problem?
