Ratio is ok for both; contrast might be an issue, but it's not terrible.

First is backlit, so might have issues; second contrast is a bit strong/dark, but should be ok; last two suffer a bit from heat haze/oversharpening.

Hello I've got a rejection: Too much contrast, soft and parts cut off, ive reduced shadows etc (pic isnt soft IMO), but I like the angle of the shot tho, is it acceptable?

The horizontal tail stab is somewhat awkwardly cut off and there is plenty of dead space on the left side of the photo: try to make a tighter crop (for instance left edge next to the engine between the two flaps)

Hello, this photo was rejected due to Dark / Underexposed and Undersharpened (Soft). Is it better? Thanks

Exposure looks ok, but still quite soft, almost out of focus. I can see you've added sharpening, but I don't think that's going to help much.

I think I know the answer - but - is it possible that this would not be rejected for backlit?

    1. possible issues with overexposure, color (cyan), and horizon (needs CCW).
    2. horizon is also off, but appears to be backlit, so maybe not worth trying to fix.
    3. looks ok to me

Yes, backlit, but also soft and very noisy. Out of curiosity, was there a reason for shooting at ISO1600?
